If you were feeling any sense of resentment over the spectacularly scenic nature of the first part of this trip, you can let that go now. These are the days of long hours driving and not much to photograph or report.
Ok, we did see some pretty amazing bins of “spiders” at the Topeka Home Depot.
And we got a new infrared thermometer so we can detect any problems with bearings before we lose the insides of our wheels.

Total miles from Webster: 260.9, 14.9 (windy), 5 hours 41 min. State parks anywhere besides California seem to have an abundance of electric/water hookups readily available no matter when you arrive. No problem getting walk in sites with power to run the AC. LTE of at least a few bars for both of us. Pretty level sites with some space between. Couldn’t see the lake from the campground, but Richard rode out a little way to catch the sunset.
